Assumption of Duty by Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources, Katsina State

The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources, Katsina State, Hon. Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa, today formally assumed duty as a Member of the State Executive Council.
In his remarks, the Commissioner expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and extended appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, for the confidence reposed in him through his appointment and swearing-in on 5th March, 2026. He pledged loyalty, diligence, and commitment to advancing the administration’s vision.
Hon. Sullubawa emphasized the strategic importance of water resources to public health, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and economic development. He assured that the Ministry will prioritize strengthening water supply systems, supporting irrigation, safeguarding water resources, and promoting sustainable management practices.
He commended the Permanent Secretary, Directors, and staff of the Ministry for their dedication and professionalism, noting that their cooperation will be vital to achieving set objectives. He further affirmed that his office will remain open to constructive ideas and partnerships aimed at improving service delivery for the benefit of the people of Katsina State.
The Honourable Commissioner concluded by seeking divine guidance in the discharge of responsibilities and reaffirmed his commitment to serve faithfully.
