Katsina Sports Commissioner Shargalle hands over the Funtua Township Stadium to Space & Dimensions Limited for an upgrade.
Katsina State Sports Commissioner Aliyu Lawal Zakari Shargalle has handed over the Samaila Isah Funtua Township Stadium to Space & Dimensions Limited, a state-based construction firm, for complete renovations.
Aliyu Lawal Zakari handed over the stadium project documents to the company's CEO, Eng Abu Kasim, at an event held at the Fitch Stadium.
According to the Sports Commissioner, the present state administration of Dikko Umar Radda approved the stadium's upgrade due to its importance in encouraging sporting activities in the state.
The sports commissioner reveals that the project's components include the re-alarming of the stadium perimeter fence, the construction of drainages, the installation of natural grass, and the athletic running track.
The project has a four-month completion period beginning today.
In response, Eng Abu Kasim, Chief Executive Officer of Space & Dimensions Limited, thanked Governor Dikko Radda for putting his trust in him to carry out the project. Eng Abu Kasim guaranteed that the stadium will be built to world-class standards and would last for a long time.

The contract was awarded for the sum of more than ninety nine million naira.
